I have a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the University of California at Santa Cruz (UCSC) and a B.S. in Chemistry from the California State University at Long Beach (CSULB).
After receiving my Ph.D. at UCSC I taught there for several years including advanced physical chemistry laboratory which focused on detectable properties of molecular systems and the experimental process of monitoring these properties.
More recently I have done consulting work with Nanocell Biotechnologies, a start-up which is developing novel applications with carbon nanomaterials.
